The strength of an image is hidden into details. Most of the time, the complexity and character of elements either too small or too discrete to be noticed at first sight act directly upon the unconscious perception and constellate it in the form of semantic configurations that are much deeper than any overrated concept. Cristina Coza-Damian, along with Galeria Nano, has decided to disassemble this mechanism and reveal its secret springs, to expound on the operating table a series of internal organs often ignored. Thus, this deconstructive approach manages to sometimes subvert the compositional hierarchy of figurative images and to bring forward the very parts of the image that are usually neglected: fleeting impressions, flickers, textures.

Forța unei imagini se ascunde în detalii. Cel mai adesea, complexitatea şi caracterul unor elemente care sunt fie prea mici, fie prea discrete ca să fie observate de la prima vedere acționează însă direct asupra percepției inconştiente, şi o constelează în configurații semantice mult mai profunde decât supraevaluatul concept. Cristina Coza alături de Galeria Nano au hotărât să demonteze acest mecanism şi să-i scoată la iveală resorturile secrete, să expună pe masa de operație o serie de organe interne adesea ignorate. Acest demers deconstructiv ajunge astfel să răstoarne uneori ierarhia compozițională a imaginilor figurative şi să scoată în prim plan tocmai ce e neglijat de obicei : impresii fugitive, sclipiri, texturi.
